A Trenton resident is the winner of $1 million thanks to the LOTTO MAX MAXMILLIONS prize.
Angelos Hatzihristos of Trenton won the $1 million through MAXMILLIONS in the August 2, 2024 LOTTO MAX draw.
“After the draw, I returned to the store where I had bought my ticket to use the ticket checker,” Hatzihristos told OLG in a release.
“When I saw the prize amount, I couldn’t tell if it was $100,000 or $1,000,000. Once it was confirmed I had won $1 million, I froze! I think the store staff were happier than I was,”
Hatzihristos plans to share the winnings with family.
The winning ticket was purchased at The Great Canadian Subs & Convenience on Front Street in Quinte West.
