The second annual Buskerfest takes place in downtown Belleville beginning on Friday.
Buskers from across the globe will descend upon the downtown area to perform for audiences.
Performances begin on Friday at 5 p.m. and continue until 9 p.m. and then on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The full list of acts set to perform are as follows:
Kobbler Jay – Prepare to be enthralled by the mesmerizing skills of a world-class artist who seamlessly combines balance, fire manipulation, and juggling into an awe-inspiring spectacle that defies the laws of physics.
Mighty Mike: Mighty Mike is putting a new spin on a classic tradition. Mike is a multiple Guinness World Record breaker, who has been trained in a line of performing strongmen going back four generations, and stays true to this age-old craft while keeping things fresh, funny, and family friendly.
Rockabilly Joe – Joey Albert is a professional circus and street performer. Joey has been a part of many different shows in the past 17 years including award winning act Stunt Double Circus, but Joey has come into his own these last 10 years doing a solo show.
Derek derek – Derek McAlister is a “street” performer in the truest sense of the word—a multidimensional, dynamic entertainer who draws on a deep bag of tricks that includes clowning, mime, dance, juggling and Chinese pole acrobatics, plus a good bit of laughter, to please audiences of all ages.
Martika Daniels – With over a decade of sideshow entertainment industry experience, Martika is one of the most in-demand sideshow performers in the Midwest. From designing her own stunts to teaching classes and workshops, Martika eats, sleeps, and breathes sideshow entertainment
Ron Leary – Singer songwriter Ron Leary’s smokey, rye-soaked voice is legendary throughout Ontario’s southern region. Best known for his fiercely honest approach to songcraft, Leary’s song narratives touch upon the politics of the day, the downtrodden, romance and joy. Few have captured the spirit of Canada’s deep south in song better.
Pogo Fred – Pogo Fred holds multiple Guinness World Records for his extreme pogo stunts and is regarded as one of the best jumpers on the planet. Fred is one of the original founders of the sport of extreme pogo and has progressed today to be one of the best jumpers in the world. He has inspired countless younger athletes and is a major driving force behind the growth of the sport.
In addition, there will also be food trucks, a side hustle vendor market showcasing unique crafts, and interactive activities for all ages.
