Ontario Provincial Police and the Office of the Fire Marshal are expanding the time frame and geographic area for home security and other video being sought in relation to a residential fire and homicide investigation in Napanee.
A 31-year-old Picton resident faces multiple charges including first degree murder and arson in connection with a residential fire on August 3, 2024.
A 67-year-old resident died as a result of the fire.
Investigators are now asking anyone living in the area bordered by Dundas Street West to Water Street West, and Centre Street to Richard Street in Napanee to check for and submit any video captured on August 3, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and 10:00 p.m. to midnight.

The Lennox and Addington County OPP are continuing the investigation under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, and in conjunction with the OFM, the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
