We expect to hear more from former Bay of Quinte MPP Todd Smith Monday morning.
Smith will join the Round Table on the Lorne Brooker Show on CJBQ after 9:00 a.m..
On Friday, Smith announced his resignation as Ontario’s Minister of Education and Member of Provincial Parliament for the Bay of Quinte riding.
Premier Doug Ford now has until February 16 to announce the date for a by-election.
The next provincial election is scheduled for June 2026, however it could be called earlier
