Members of the Bancroft OPP have arrested a person after a motorcycle fled from police.
On August 12, shortly after 7:30 p.m., officers attempted to stop a motorcycle that had no licence plate. The motorcycle fled from police. The investigation resulted in one person being arrested a short time later.
Tristian McColl, a 23-year-old from Bancroft has been charged with five provincial offences and the following Criminal Code offences:
– Flight from peace officer;
– Dangerous operation;
– Operation while prohibited under the criminal code x 2
– Fail to comply with probation order; and
– Possession of a schedule III substance.
The accused has been held in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on August 13, 2024 in relation to the criminal charges.
