A portion of Highway 33 north of Highway 401 in Quinte West will be closed until mid-afternoon Tuesday following a single vehicle collision.
Quinte West Fire Chief John Whelan tells Quinte News a vehicle struck a hydro pole in the area of Locke Road around 11:30 a.m.
Two people were taken to Trenton Memorial Hospital with unspecified injuries.
The road was expected to remain closed for three to four hours while Hydro One crews repair the snapped pole.
