Several new services are coming to Prince Edward County to help combat homelessness.
Four new services are being offered by the municipal Housing Help Program, to help tenants find and keep their rental housing.
The new programs include a series of informational workshops for both landlords and tenants, eviction prevention mediation, landlord supports, and a new housing registry to provide up-to-date info on available rental units to prospective renters.
The new services are funded by the Ontario Homelessness Prevention Program through Prince Edward-Lennox and Addington Social Services.
