Police were called to remove an unwanted person from a commercial premises in Campbellford.
Staff at a Grand Road business called Northumberland OPP Thursday evening to report a disturbance involving an assault and a person making threatening remarks.
OPP say the person refused to leave when officers arrived and allegedly attempted to throw an item at police and spit at an officer during their arrest.
Twenty-three-year-old Sabrina Wilson of Ottawa is charged with assaulting a peace officer, assault, uttering threats and failing to leave a premises when directed.
The accused is due to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg at a future date.
