A local non-profit is being recognized for its work in the community after receiving a pair of Ontario Trillium Fund grants.
The Ontario Trillium Fund recognized Westben, a not for profit arts organization in Campbellford, for their Regenerating Community project.
Westben previously received over $200,000 in Trillium Fund money in two grants over the past two years. The first grant was issued in 2023 for $60,300 to make needed updates to their facilities. The year before in 2022 they received a grant for 140,500 in resilient communities funding to help recover from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Westben’s Regenerating Community project helps people reconnect through art by helping with staffing costs, artists fees, and to make needed technology purchases.
