A traditional Pow Wow is set to take place in Tyendinaga this weekend.
The 37th Annual Tyendinaga Traditional Pow Wow is set to take place at Tsi Tkerhetoton Park beginning on Saturday at 7 a.m.
There will be dancers and over 90 Indigenous food & craft vendors at the Pow Wow.
A 50/50 draw will also take place.
The lead male dancer will be Victor Tabobandung of Wasauksing First Nation. The lead female teen dancer will be Chelsea Neepin of Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.
The event takes place on Saturday, August 10 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, August 11 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
