Northumberland OPP recovered two stolen vehicles in an hour on Tuesday night.
Around 8:45 p.m., police received a complaint regarding an abandoned passenger vehicle on Bay Street West in Trent Hills.
Officers learned the unoccupied vehicle had been reported stolen to a neighbouring police service on July 29.
The vehicle was recovered and transferred to the investigating service.
Around 9:15 p.m., an officer on patrol on King Street East in Cramahe Township received an Automated Licence Plate Recognition notification regarding a stolen vehicle.
As a result, 47-year-old Katherine De Jesus of Grimsby was arrested on charges of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and driving without a licence.
The vehicle was recovered and the accused is due to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg at a future date.
