UPDATE AUGUST 9, 2024: The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad advises that Tyler Closs was located and arrested by the Greater Sudbury Police Service.
The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant as a result of a breach of their statutory release.
Tyler Closs is described as an Indigenous male, 26 years old, 5’8″, 330 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. Closs has tattoos on his left cheek of a cross, on his left hand a heart, and right hand a star.
Closs is serving a four-year, six-month and 10-day sentence for:
· Aggravated assault x 2
· Assault Peace Officer with weapon or imitation x 2
· Obstruct Public/Peace Officer
· Assault – threats violence – use of Force
The offender is known to frequent the cities of Sudbury, Toronto and Kingston.
