Prince Edward County OPP are investigating after a fatal accident at Point Petre.
Just before 7 p.m. on Saturday, officers responded along with firefighters and paramedics to the Point Petre area. According to reports, there were several people in the water.
One person who was in the water was pronounced dead. Police have not released a name or any details about the death.
The OPP is reminding everyone to stay safe near the water and to remember to have a personal flotation device or life jacket.
