The Belleville Sports Hall of Fame has announced their inductees in the class of 2024.
Four individuals and one team will join the Belleville Shrine at Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
They are figure skater Glen Fortin, Belleville Spirits basketball pioneer Mike Kirby, former NHLer Greg Terrion, Paralympic gold medalist Steve Stewart and the the Belleville Yardmen Benefit Fund Ladies Softball team of 1973 to 1977.
The accomplishments of all the new inductees will be highlighted closer to the Induction Ceremony which takes place on September 14 in the multipurpose room on the second floor at Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
The public is welcome to attend. Admission is free.
