The official building stats are in for Brighton in July, and while the value of construction projects is down compared to the previous year, the same number of total permits were issued.
Brighton issued 20 building permits total in July this year, which matches exactly with July 2023. The total value of the permits issued in July was $7,119,000, compared to last July’s whopping $40,335,000.
That high number last year mostly consisted of 2 high value permits totaling $36 million for two apartment buildings
Meanwhile eight of the 20 permits issued last month were for new homes, including 4 for 4-plex townhouses.
