Belleville police are looking for a suspect after a late afternoon altercation resulted in the stabbing of one person.
Just before 6 p.m. on Monday, police received a report of a group of males, possibly armed with knives and a baseball bat, fighting at the corner of Dundas Street East and Ann Street.
Upon arrival, police located a 59-year-old male who had been stabbed.
Paramedics transported the victim to Kingston General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect had fled the scene prior to police arrival.
The Criminal Investigative Division continue to investigate.
