The Lennox and Addington OPP have charged a driver with impaired driving-related offences.
On July 27, 2024, just before 9:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to an address on Church Street in Napanee for a trespassing complaint. Officers arrived on scene and spoke to an individual that had driven to the location. As part of the investigation, an Approved Screening Device was administered, and the driver was subsequently arrested and transported to detachment for further testing.
As a result, Tenisha Hum, age 29, of Napanee was charged with:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on August 20, 2024.
