Hastings Prince Edward Public Health has updated its Opioid Monitoring Dashboard with numbers from the month of June.
There were 24 opioid-related calls for the month of June bringing the total number of calls to date in 2024 to 256.
OPP and Belleville Police responded to six overdose incidents, increasing the total so far this year to 111.
Fourteen visits were made to emergency departments in the region for opioid poisonings, increasing the total number for this year so far to 170.
Three suspected drug-related deaths are being reported for June bringing the total to 21.
Eight overdoses were reported anonymously to the HPEPH website, increasing the total to 74.
