Local firefighters will be receiving state-of-the-art live firefighting training early next month.
Prince Edward County Fire & Rescue will host the province’s Mobile Live Training Unit in Picton
from August 2 through August 11.
The Mohawk and Tyendinaga Township fire departments will also be taking part in the exercise.
The Mobile Live Training Unit is fueled by propane and uses the gas and water to create controlled fires along with smoke.
The unit is staffed by instructors from the Ontario Fire College.
