Two people face multiple charges after a stolen vehicle was involved in a crash in Deseronto early Sunday.
Lennox and Addington OPP allege the stolen vehicle collided with an unoccupied, parked vehicle on Thomas Street and flipped onto its side around 1:30 a.m.
The two occupants of the vehicle fled on foot.
A short time later, officers apprehended a female who was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
A male was arrested after.
A search resulted in the seizure of a loaded firearm, ammunition, a baton and suspected cocaine.
Katelyn Sinclair, 29, of Centre Hastings was charged with:
Unauthorized possession of a firearm
Carrying concealed weapon
Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose – three counts
Careless use of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
Transport firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition in a careless manner
Occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was firearm
Theft over $5,000 of a motor vehicle
Possession of a schedule I substance – cocaine
Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
Assault
Breach of recognizance
Brodie Bernhardt, 30, of Belleville was charged with:
Unauthorized possession of a firearm
Carrying concealed weapon

Transport firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition in a careless manner
Occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was firearm

Fail to comply with probation order – two counts
Both accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
