The Blair Smith Memorial Fishing with Kids event is coming up on Saturday, August 24 in Trenton.
Beginning at 11 a.m. at Riverfront Square in downtown Trenton, children and families are invited to come out and experience the joy of fishing.
Participating kids will receive a loot bag filled with fishing tackle. There will also be a prize draw, face painting, a booth with resources from the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters, and complimentary hotdogs and drinks.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own fishing poles and tackle.
