NICK COUSINS TELLS QUINTE NEWS THAT THE STANLEY CUP WILL BE ARRIVING TUESDAY AUGUST 20, INSTEAD OF THE ORIGINALLY PLANNED AUGUST 19.
Belleville’s Nick Cousins is starting to get ready for his day with the most famous trophy in sports.
“Looking forward to getting a chance to bring the Stanley Cup home,” Cousins tells Quinte news. “We are still working on the logistics and the planning of our time with the trophy.”
This will be the fifth time in last time in 15 years Belleville has had a chance to see the Stanley Cup.

Note: Dustin Walsh of Read (Tyendinaga Township) won with the Vegas Golden Knights (Director of Analytics) in 2023. He had an opportunity to celebrate with the trophy in Nevada.
The former Quinte Red Devil continued, “There is a lot of planning that will need to be done ahead of time, but we are going to make sure there will be a community component to the celebrations. My family and I are looking forward to sharing the win with the community.”
