Brighton council has approved a draft plan of subdivision, zoning change, and Official Plan amendment allowing for a significant housing development off Ontario Street near Westview Drive.
If given final approval, the project would involve 20 single-detached homes, 30 semi-detached dwellings, and three sixplex apartment buildings on just over five hectares of mostly vacant land.
Consultants have applied for the amendment and rezoning on behalf of Walas Ltd.
