Stirling-Rawdon Council honoured Woodbeck Auto Parts at Monday’s meeting, celebrating the company’s 85 years in the community.
MP Shelby Kramp Neuman and a representative from MPP Ric Bresee’s office were also on hand to congratulate the Woodbeck family.
Burton and Verna Woodbeck founded the auto parts recycling business in 1939. Their sons Ron and Bruce and family, and now Bruce’s son Greg, have all been involved in the business over the years.
Stirling-Rawdon Mayor Bob Mullin says the Woodbeck family has always been community-oriented and committed to hiring locally.
