A weapons charge has been laid in connection with a dispute in Northumberland County.
OPP were called to Danforth Road East in Hamilton Township just before 5:30 Sunday morning where officers found the involved parties engaged in a dispute regarding a motor vehicle.
One of parties was found to have an edged weapon in his possession.
A 35-year-old male from Cobourg has been arrested and charged with unauthorised possession of a weapon.
Police are not naming the accused to protect the identity of the victim.
