Prince Edward County is hosting a public information meeting for the Cold Creek subdivision in Hallowell Ward at the end of the month.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 30 starting at 6 p.m. at the Sergeants Mess Hall at Base31 (26-343 County Road 22).
The municipality has received applications for a Draft Plan of Subdivision and Zoning By-Law Amendment for a development that would include approximately 904 residential units of mixed types:
Single-detached dwellings
Semi-detached dwellings
Townhouse dwellings
Staked townhouse dwellings
Back-to-back townhouse dwellings
Apartment buildings
There would also be a stormwater management facility, parkland and open space.
The subdivision would be located north of Sandy Hook Road, south of Millennium Trail, and west of Upper Lake Street.
Members of the public who wish to attend the meeting are asked to register by contacting Matthew Coffey, Planning Approvals, Coordinator, at mcoffey@pecounty.on.ca by noon on Monday, July 29.
