As was widely predicted, a lot of rain fell Wednesday and as expected the old rainfall record for a July 10 in the Quinte region was washed away.
According to readings taken at CFB Trenton, 42.3 millimetres (1.66 inches) of rain fell.
That was over three times the previous record for a July 10 which was only 13 mm set in 2006.
