Power lines have been knocked down by a falling tree limb in Picton on Wednesday morning.
Prince Edward County firefighters responded to the corner of Centre and Queen streets in Picton at 9:30 a.m. where the fallen limb struck the power lines on the way down, creating a safety hazard.
Debris from the limb is in the roadway and the fallen power line is still live.
Centre Street is closed between King and Queen streets for cleanup.
