The Norris Whitney Bridge, commonly known as the Bay Bridge in Belleville, was closed to traffic for a short while Monday night.
The Belleville Police Service closed the bridge shortly after 10 o’clock for what it called an investigation.
No details were released.
Ninety minutes later police issued a notice saying the situation had resolved itself and the bridge was reopened.
