The upcoming Belleville Caribbean Carnival is seeking permission to serve alcohol.
During the upcoming Monday council meeting, Belleville council will consider providing assistance in securing licensing for a beer garden to be set up near City Hall during the event.
The carnival has run yearly for several years, though the 2024 event will potentially be the first to serve alcohol.
