Building activity through the first six months of this year is slightly higher than the same period in 2023 for the Municipality of Brighton.
Last month, the building department issued 18 permits with a construction value of $2.49 million.
In June 2023, there were 17 permits worth $5.26 million issued.
Three of the permits granted last month were for single-unit dwellings.
Year-to-date, 85 permits worth just over $21 million have been issued compared to 80 permits with a $20 million value during the first half of last year.
