Prince Edward County is holding a third and final Public Consultation Centre (PCC) for the Transportation Master Plan (TMP) amendment for Picton on Tuesday, July 16.
The drop-in format session will be be held at the Prince Edward Community Centre (375 Picton Main Street) from 6 – 8 p.m.
A county-wide TMP was completed in 2021, however, an amendment is required for the Picton Settlement Area due to a higher level of growth projected within the study area.
The amendment will assess the short- and long-term transportation infrastructure needs and deficiencies within Picton and will identify improvements to the multi-modal transportation network in order to address existing and future travel demands.
