Quinte West OPP is investigating after a pickup truck hit a construction worker and failed to remain at the scene in Quinte West.
On Wednesday, at close to 8:30 a.m., workers were using flags to slow traffic while doing maintenance work at the intersection of Foxboro-Stirling and Wallbridge Loyalist roads.
A black Dodge Ram truck with no licence plates came through the intersection and struck a construction worker before driving away. The worker was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The vehicle was last seen driving south on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road.
