Egor Sokolov has been a mainstay with the Belleville Senators for the past four seasons. However, he is in for a drastic change of scenery.
The Ottawa Senators have traded the 2020 second-round pick to the Utah Hockey Club in exchange for forward Jan Jenik.
Sokolov scored 76 goals and 104 assists in 240 games with the B-Sens and was an AHL All Star in 2023.
Jenik totalled 46 goals and 120 points in 165 games with the Roadrunners including 16 goals and 36 points last season.
Jenik was a third-round selection of the Arizona Coyotes (now Utah Hockey Club) in 2018.
