Just 24 hours after a world class spectacle at the Quinte International Air Show, a member of the Skyhawks was seriously injured in Ottawa.
Following the air show at 8 Wing, the team travelled to Ottawa where they were part of the Canada Day celebrations Monday.
Video shows a member coming in for a crash landing around 3 p.m. on Parliament Hill, in front of hundreds of onlookers.
The unnamed individual was taken to hospital, where they are deemed to be in serious condition.
The Canadian Armed Forces Parachute Team is based out of CFB Trenton.
