Belleville police are investigating a robbery that took place in the area of Pinnacle Street and Bridge Street East.
Police say they were dispatched to the area at 9:15 p.m. on Thursday.
An investigation found that the victim was approached by two male suspects, each with weapons.
One weapon was believed to be a BB gun while the other is believed to be a flare gun.
Police say the suspects stole the victim’s handbag and ran off without inflicting any injuries.
One of the suspects was described as a male wearing a white t-shirt and having short hair.
