Parking fines for some offences in the City of Belleville will soon be going up.
The city is advising that fines for an expired meter and a ticket not properly displayed are set to increase beginning July 8.
The new fine for these offences will be $15 if paid within sevendays and $20 after seven days.
Previously, the fines were $8 if paid within seven days and $15 after seven days.
