Fire destroyed a garage on River Road in Belleville’s Thurlow Ward Tuesday afternoon.
Fire fighters from Stations 3 and 4 responded to a home on River Road near Harmony Road around 1:45 p.m.
A small garage was fully engulfed in flames but was considered under control by 2:25 p.m.
Crews were able to keep the fire out of the house with the only damage to the home being some melted siding.
There were no injuries and no one was home at the time.
The cause is under investigation.
