Northumberland OPP is asking anyone with information about a fire in Hamilton Township to contact them.
The Crime Unit, along with the Ontario Fire Marshal, is now investigating Saturday’s blaze on Leach Road.
Hamilton Township Fire, with assistance from Alnwick-Haldimand crews, was called to the home just after midnight and battled the blaze for several hours, finally knocking down the flames around 3 a.m..
The home, which was for sale and under construction, sustained substantial damage.
No one was injured.
Officers will continue to hold the scene for the ongoing investigation.
