OLG has announced that Belleville resident Andrew Gilchrist is the winner of $100,000 through INSTANT POWER 5S.
In a press release, OLG says Gilchrist is a pipefitter who has been playing the lottery for more than 40 years.
“I was sipping on a coffee in my car, while playing my ticket,” he tells OLG in a press release.
“I did more than a double take. It was more like a quadruple take. I was surprisingly calm, yet in shock. I’m still not sure it has sunk in!”
Gilchrist says he plans to pay some bills and share his win with family.
The winning ticket was purchased at Daisy Mart on Bridge Street in Belleville.
