Belleville police have announced the identity of the victim and a fourth accused person in the September 2023 homicide investigation.
The male victim has been identified as 29-year-old Rylie Brissette of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Police say Brissette was killed on September 18, 2023 in an incident that occurred on the property at 75 North Front St.
Four people have now been arrested and charged in relation to the investigation.
The fourth person has been identified as 44-year-old Douglas Rolfe of Belleville. He was arrested during a traffic stop in January 2024 and charged with conspiring to commit murder.
On June 13, 2024, Rolfe was additionally charged with first degree murder.
The other three charged include the following:
Forty-seven-year-old Robert Holgate of Belleville was arrested this week and charged with the following offences:
- First Degree Murder;
- Conspiring to Commit Murder
Twenty-one-year-old Elisha Linscott-Wiltshire of Scarborough was also arrested and charged this week with the following offences:
- First Degree Murder;
- Conspiring to Commit Murder.
In May, 22-year-old Marlon McDonald of Oshawa was arrested and charged with the following offences:
- First degree murder;
- Possession of a loaded prohibited firearm x2;
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm x2;
- Pointing a firearm;
- Discharge firearm with intent;
- Possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition;
- Carrying a concealed weapon;
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon;
- Possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order x2;
- Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking;
- Possession of crystal meth for the purpose of trafficking;
- Proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000;
- Resist peace officer;
- Failure to comply with release order x2.
