A Napanee elementary school is growing and getting a facelift.
On Tuesday, the Algonquin Lakeshore Catholic District School Board broke ground on an addition to J.J. O’Neill Catholic School.
The addition will make room for 331 student spaces across 14 classrooms, and three child-care rooms.
Director of Education David DeSantis says the board is focused on providing innovative learning communities.
Total price tag for the work is $22.6 million.
