Fire damaged an apartment house in Belleville Monday night.
Firefighters were called to an older 2 storey wood frame house containing 4 apartments at around
9:30 at 215 Station Street, not far from Belleville’s fire department headquarters.
Flames were quickly brought under control and contained to the attic area however there was smoke
and water damage throughout.
No injuries were reported. An investigation into a cause is underway.
