The United Way Hastings and Prince Edward’s annual Day of Caring continues to grow with another record-breaking event set for this year.
On Thursday, June 20, 345 volunteers from 36 different workplaces across the region will help complete 53 separate projects in Belleville, Quinte West, Prince Edward County & Central Hastings.
Volunteers will gather at the Quinte Mall Food Court to kick off the day.
Each year United Way HPE pairs volunteers from workplaces with local organizations to work on projects that they may otherwise be unable to complete without some extra help.
The 2023 Day of Caring was also a record-breaking year which saw 263 volunteers from 27 workplaces complete 46 projects.
