A St. Catharines man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash on Highway 401 in Brighton.
Northumberland OPP say the single-vehicle collision occurred in the westbound lanes of the highway Sunday afternoon around 3:30.
The motorcycle left the roadway and struck the central barrier, ejecting the rider.
The 35-year-old victim was transported by ORNGE Air to a trauma centre in Toronto with injuries described as serious.
Highway 401 west was closed in the area of County Road 30 until about 11 p.m. as Technical Collision Investigation members conducted their investigation.
