While there were quite a few scattered power outages caused by Thursday night’s thunderstorm there are very few homes and businesses without power this morning in the Quinte region.
There’s an outage affecting fewer than 20 customers around Shannonville, several outages around Campbellford affecting 160 homes and businesses, and another group in the Tweed area affecting 80 customers.
The power should be back to those customers by sometime Friday afternoon.
Meanwhile, in North Hastings, a large power disruption continues in Bancroft and area that affects over 2,000 homes and businesses.
Province-wide, as of 3 o’clock Friday morning, about 60,000 Hydro One customers were without power.
