The celebration features a variety of events and activities that mark Indigenous History Month, Indigenous Persons Day, Pride Month, Multiculturalism Day, and Canada Day.
“I am looking forward to celebrating these special events with our community,” said Mayor Steve Ferguson. “Thank you to the volunteers who help organize these diverse activities as a way for the community to come together.”
Events being held include REVEL: Celebrating Diversity on June 22, Pride in the Park on June 29, and the Wellington Canada Day Parade on the July 1.
