Registration is now open for United Way Hastings Prince Edward’s Backpacks for Success.
United Way HPE’s Backpacks for Success program helps to provide affordable backpacks that are filled with grade-appropriate school supplies, including a lunch bag and a water bottle.
The program is open to students from Kindergarten all the way up to Grade 12 living in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties.
1,100 backpacks were distributed in 2023.
An individual backpack costs $12.
