Prince Edward County OPP laid a careless driving charge after a single vehicle collision west of Demorestville.
Police responded to the collision on County Road 14, between Lornas Lane and Crofton Road, just before 10 p.m. on Monday.
A car left the road, striking and damaging a hydro pole and a fence.
No injuries were reported and alcohol was not a factor.
A 34-year-old man from Kingston, who was not identified by police, was charged with careless driving.
