Last month was a little warmer and wetter than usual in the Quinte region.
According to readings taken at CFB Trenton the average high temperature last month was 21 degrees
Celsius. The highest temperature recorded was on May 22 when the mercury climbed to a record-setting 29.5 degrees.
Over the years the average high in May is just above 18 degrees.
The average low last month of 10 degrees was also warmer than the normal 7 degrees
Meanwhile, almost 80 millimetres of rain fell in May, higher than the 62 mm historical average.
